Forrrrrrt! Fort Fort Fort Fort Fort!

Spent the night at J's parents' house, got to snorgle with cats a bit, and only had a 20 minute drive to the fort this morning. Was a Good Thing.
Beautiful weather at Fort Knox today (the first time in a while, I think that I've made it up there when it wasn't gray and cloudy/rainy), lotsa people, lotsa fencing, and lotsa fun. Discovered I did not forget my belt, and as such had all proper regalia and sword bits.
Did a bunch of marshally things; a few authorizations (my first), observed a few bouts, and called a hold during the heavy melee (possibly would have been avoidable, but there were things happening that I was not comfortable with, and Fraser backed me up on it afterward, so all is cool.). Am more comfortable wearing that particular hat, but still need to do more with it.
Hoping next week to qual in either rigid parry or case, perhaps both, perhaps go for a blue cord, before all the LORA rules change and I need to do a bunch of extra stuff... excited about the melee class next week; need to go over what exactly we're doing with Julien at fencing on Tuesday.
Good weekend overall, over now, don't wanna go to work tomorrow. Sleep would be really nice, but I think if I go to bed now I won't be a total zombie tomorrow.
