'kay. so. Winter is here. Or well on the way. I still, myself, have not seen snow of any sort yet, but people tell me it's happened. There was a goodly amount of ice on the waterfall at work today, and it didn't get above 30. The wind would also not let up, so any sun that was brave enough to poke through the clouds didn't have much of a warming effect... Plants are mostly put away, though, just the roses and perennials left to lay down, then the Great Arborvitae Circle and mulching-in of all the trees can begin. So excited. *twitch
My white Zygocactus is quite happy, and blooming like crazy. Always early. Always pretty. It's gotten pinker over the years, I think. Hoping that the little cuttings of the stripey ones I took from work will bloom this year, but no buds as of yet.
Annnd looking at the clock, I see I will be late for singing practice... whoops. I'm out.
