Ohhh! *Craftgasm!* I know what you mean... I'm totally stashed up on yarn lately. The JoAnne's up here is disgustingly ginormious, as is the Michaels. They both also had sales all summer. I got fancy-schmancy yarn for around $1 or $2 per skein. I now have far too many crafts. Don't even get me going on the drawers full of cross stitch to be completed.
Sounds SO awesome about the fair too! I have to say, I miss a nice fall fair. The Tanana Valley State Fair is in early August or late July I think, so it wasn't the same. I liked the theme- it was "Faster than a speeding Pullet." I was irked I didn't get to see the critters since Joe's stupid friends were being obnoxious and it was the first time I met them so we all got to go sit in the beer garden. Joe and I sat there and tried to talk while a band played loudly and the other four smoked like chimneys and drank like fish. After being polite (Joe hadn't seen the guys in a couple years since they both happened to have either moved back or been up to visit) for an appropriate amount of time we got to go check out the nifty stuff. However, it was late and the cool things like livestock were closed. When we went back the next day it poured rain, so we really only checked out crafts and produce on the other side of the grounds. I miss the critters a lot. (I did see the bunnies. Bunnies make it worth it!)
I can't wait to see your foliage photos! Think of me! I miss the variation of colors. I'll upload the last few hunting pictures which have Autumn Hits The Tundra so you can compare too!
