Was filling up the gas tank before fencing practice, just about to get back into the car, when a van that was at another pump pulls out and stops right in front of me. Lady inside says "excuse me!" I figure she needs directions somewhere... "yes?" {smile smile} "Have you ever heard about Pre-paid Legal Services?"

...eh?

"uh, no..." says I. "Would you like to know more about us?" she asks me, eager to... do... something...

"uh, no, not really." says I (moving to get back in the car, quickly, and possibly lock the doors). "Alrighty then! You have a good night!" and just like that, she drives off.

Buh? That has got to be the strangest thing that's happened to me in quite some time... Propositioned for legal services at the gas pump... did I look like I needed them, or was she trying to recruit more employees? We may never know (or care, really)...

A night in.

kurlon and kr4sh are headed off to Loudon this evening for a track day tomorrow, which means I get the apartment to myself tonight. I like this.

Played landscaper today, in the on and off cold rain, at the boss's house. Chopped shrubs into little pieces, some of them. Did not fall in the pond. Found a 4-leaf clover! Tired now. Hot shower is imminent. Salmon is thawed, will be delightful when I figure out how I'm going to cook it.

Could use tonight to clean up the sewing room... I appear to have lost the floor again. I may fold laundry for a bit, there's a good amount of that that needs doing, but I can watch a movie at the same time. Thus being decided...

Fuzzy PJs - check.
Quilt - check.
Comfort food - check. Corn Pops, popcorn, and cappuccino.
Good Movie - check. Stardust, I think. Maybe another, if I'm still awake at the end.

Hoping the weather holds for the guys' track day tomorrow, and Max & my Kayak trip on Friday... minimal rain/mist would be preferred...
