Things that are Certain
Feb. 4th, 2009 11:19 amDeath and Taxes, both accomplished within nearly 24 hours of each other.
Poor Levi died yesterday morning, I wished for a few moments last night that I would (I don't think I can have shellfish anymore... this makes me very very sad...), and our taxes are done this morning. Sizable refund coming, which will be very, very nice.
I reaffirmed last night that fencing while very tired is a Bad Thing. Besides reaction times being way, way off, minor bumps that would not normally throw me off become serious-feeling injuries, and make me miserable. A little poke on the thumb (delivered with surgical precision, I may add) ended my evening. Pathetic. Probably shouldn't have even gone to practice, but J offered to drive, and it did feel good to do what I was able to do. Just need some more sleep, and probably to get up and walk around more during the day. Sitting in front of a monitor will suck out your soul. I want spring now, please. I've got so many things I want to do in the garden...
