Another day of springlike warmth. It's only around 50 or so, so I need a sweatshirt if I'm not moving around much, but I'm not complaining... last of the plants are moved, all the rest were picked up and tucked in for winter as of yesterday afternoon. All snug.

Customers... customers confuse me. A lady came in this morning (I was in the loader, couldn't stop and jump out and say "hi!" as quickly as I'd have liked to...), and I watched her walk up to the front door, try the handle, read the GIANT sign I'd stuck in the windows that said "we're closed, but come up to the office for assistance!", try the handle again, read stare at the sign again, play with the door handle yet a third time, and give up and go back to her car. I had managed to park the loader by this point, and did get to at least be polite and say hello (she was looking for a wreath, no wreaths this year... "did you sell them all already?!" er... no........) before she left, to continue her search.

Seriously, though... three attempts on the same door, obviously not moving (yes, the door handle turns... but the door is bolted from the inside, into 6" of concrete. Not. Moving.), and there's a nice, friendly sign that says "nope, not here! try the other building!", you are not going to get inside. No matter how much you think you want to. We are keeping you out for a reason.

Ah well... back to the mulch, I suppose.
