Yes, yes it is. Hurts the brain for a while, and you do verily suck for a long time.
But! Once the magic switch is flipped in your brain, all becomes clear, and things get much, much easier, and so much more fun, and the jump in "satisfaction" is huge. It takes time. :) (much easier, too, on RockBand, than on Guitar Hero III. Hard on GH=expert on RB, as far as I can tell. owwowowowow.)
And do you find that the amount of OMGFUN and personal satisfaction you get from this game is waaaaay more than you think it should be? :) We do... we don't much care...
