Rock some Band.

Long night of RockBand last night after singing practice... it did well and truly rock. Traded instruments throughout the night. I still cannot play drums. I hate my foot. Getting a little bit better. Not flailing wildly any time a pedal hit comes across the screen like I did when I noodled around on my brother's set. Songs that are different than my CDs make life difficult (I'm looking at you, Sea and Sand... where did those extra words at the end come from???).

[livejournal.com profile] bobbyvector has a very, very good point, in that 'Testify' is much better done in the style of a cheerleader. :) Worth several laughs.

In other, very exciting news, I am off to Staples to run off a few prints. Woo... thrilling. I know you all cared. But first, a grilled cheese sandwich.

And almost forgot... the US Fish & Wildlife dept got my 'want my foxfur, dammit' letter on Tuesday. Yay for delivery confirmation. Now... I wait.

I would also recommend singing any Smashing Pumpkins song as Cartman. There's really not that much difference, especially after Siamese Dream. I noticed "Zero" on the Rock Band store...hmmm...

hrmm... your theories intrigue me, sir, and I wish to know more... ;)

And one of these years I'll find where I wrote down my Wii code thingies, and we can get all hooked up, and ROCK together! :)

I found out some years back (http://bobbyvector.livejournal.com/18223.html) that singing along to any Smashing Pumpkins song (especially ones from "Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness") can turn into a Cartman impression with little effort. Think about it. Have you ever seen Billy Corgan and Trey Parker (whose first name is actually Randolph, which I learned from the credits of RB1) in the same place at the same time? :-)

It works pretty well for the Pumpkins songs on RB1 and 2 (Cherub Rock and Today), and I bet it would be great for Zero as well.

My Wii address is 0472 7439 7681 2453. I don't mind posting that on the Series of Tubes since to do anything with it, you have to have both sides add each other. As for the RB2 codes, I'm not so sure. Do you have my email address on file?
