This was a Triumph...

2 Triumphs, actually. Beautiful bikes.
kurlon probably knows what they are, if anybody's wondering. More pictures here! Pretty, pretty bikes...
A perfect day for a ride, and it was wonderful. No problems, save for a bit of construction on the way up, and a jerk in a Honda on the way back (we were at a stop sign... he felt we were taking too long to get moving again, and honked. First instinct I had was to turn around and flip him off, so I did. agh. *blushblushblush* probably not the smartest thing I could have done, and never done that before in my life, but it seemed appropriate...). Missed the rain that seemed to be falling one mountain over, too, which was nice.
Found the Ducati group from down the road and said hi, wandered around a bit, talked with the guy who had Ural sidecars, wandered to the KTM area whereupon J signed up for a test ride. Then found lunch, ran into a guy we'd taken a ride with a few years ago and hadn't seen since, but we remembered each other. :) I hung out with Gerry and the MM crew while J was on his test ride, then we two went out for a spin in the sidecar. Quite fun. Different.
frothgar and
evensongs_fall, you should have one. :) It would totally rock. Goggles and a cute scarf are a must for the sidecar rider, however.
Also, found my new helmet! :D It's got BUTTERFLIES on it! Not sure what color I want... thought the blue, but kinda like the beige... not the pink. Eee! Have to order it sometime next week.
I am going to sleep well tonight... glad no work tomorrow, except maybe watering plants for a little while.
