First Snow

At 9:50 AM, the first flakes fell... I was actually smiling when it started. :) It's just stopped; there's about a quarter or half inch on the ground that will probably be gone by tonight, but the world is beautiful and white for the moment. The retail shop is full of poinsettias, I'm covered in pitch, and everything smells like balsam. Thanksgiving is on Thursday, Christmas is in the air, and I'm ok with this. :)

Yep, that's the season all in one place! Now if you could bottle all those things and sell them as a home freshener, you'd make a fortune... maybe toss in a cat or two for ambiance... :)
