2. Is it registered? Yup!
3. What SCA group do you live in? Malagentia
4. What kingdom? East
5. When did you first join? April 2000 was my first event
6. How did you find out about the SCA? Caught a ride to an event with someone I'd met through Blade Society literally hours beforehand... haven't looked back since.
7. Are you in a guild or household? Haus Wanderstamm
8. How did you join that guild or household? I was kind of absorbed...
9. What do you DO in the SCA? Fencing, illumination, music (vocal and instrumental), camping, photographing other people doing things. Oh, and socializing. Lots of that.
10. Have you ever held an office? Yes.
11. What office did you hold and for how long? Malagentia A&S Mistress, January 2010 to present.
12. What is your persona? I do 12th century French usually. Dabble in 15th century Burgundian (love my Hennin!) and English (kinda. for fencing)
13. Have you brought anyone into the SCA? Yes.
14. Did they stay in the SCA? Yes, a few.
15. What keeps you in the SCA? Friends, family and fencing. And the music. And painting. I have too many hobbies to stop now!
16. Ever been to Pennsic? Once. Going back. Soon.
17. Ever been to another Known World event other than Pennsic? KWAR/KWCS last year.
18. Ever traveled outside your country for an SCA event? Yes
19. Do you have any awards? AoA, Order of the Silver Rapier (and Best Death at the Bare Blade Tavern!)
20. What do you think of the award structure in your kingdom? Honestly, never paid much attention. I am happy when people get things and recognition I think they deserve.
21. Do you have a persona? Not really. It's pretty much me, in different clothes.
22. Do you try and stay in persona at events? See previous. I try to keep modern out of events, but don't do as well as some.
23. Are your friends in the SCA also friends outside the SCA? YES!
24. Do you know their REAL NAMES? Yes, usually... sometimes it takes a few years.
25. If you could change one thing about the SCA, what would it be? Dunno. It's certainly not perfect, but what is there works for me... don't really need a paper newsletter, perhaps.
