I has a tree.
Dec. 1st, 2007 07:56 pmAnd hurty feets. Was day 1 of Open House weekend at work, not too crazy, but a long day. COLD, though... I'd be surprised if it got above 20 degrees, and the wind would just not quit. Primary reason why I wasn't as festive and holiday-ish as I could have been... cold+wind+outside job=cranky Gen. And after no less than 6 people bought MY Christmas tree today, I decided that the next "perfect" one I found was coming home with me. And it did. Will be beautiful when I can finally put it up in the living room on the 14th (have to wait till AFTER Josh's birthday, of course).
The Dissonatas came to sing and play this morning, and all was lovely and beautiful. :) Apparently the garden shop has wonderful acoustics. Everybody is certainly welcome back for next year, and we'll probably shift the Open House weekend to next weekend, where we've had it the last couple of years, as there's a bit more traffic, and more people to hear the wonderful music.
Supposed to get our first significant snow on Monday; I've heard anything from a dusting, to 2-4 inches, to over a foot of accumulation. We shall see. In the winter especially, I am thankful for my 5 minute commute...
Now going to collapse on the couch, mebbe watch some of the Dresden Files on DVD... Then I just have to get up in the morning and do it all over again!
