OMG TEH SNOWZ
Dec. 3rd, 2007 05:59 pmBeen a long time since we've had decent snow before Christmas. :) Not nearly as much of a dumping (yet) as the weather folks said we'd get, but there's still plenty of time. I don't know if we'll get the full 18-20" predicted, but the world will be white for quite some time. Quiet today, not many people were brave enough to venture out for a Christmas tree, but there was plenty of shoveling to keep me busy. Hooray for my boss calling and saying "go ahead and close up before it gets dark" when he asked how not-busy we'd been for the last several hours.
As tempting as it will certainly be to stay under the covers tomorrow morning, I am going to try and drag myself out of bed at a reasonable hour tomorrow before I have to go back to work and shovel (again) so I can maybe get a few nice photos. Not sure how the 'snow' setting is supposed to work on my camera, but the couple shots I took this afternoon came out kinda grayish-looking. Not terribly pretty. Will fix, if I can. In the meantime, enjoy a Maine Snowfall. (more photos if you enter the wall of wreaths...)
