Still snowing, but very lightly and prettily. Only about 8" on the ground here, up north probably got a bit more, but I'll take this over 18" any day. I'm an adult now... no more snow days... boo. The little girls next door built a snowman in the backyard last night, he's been capped with some additional material, and appears to be more of a really tall gumdrop. :)

Work again in an hour. No snow day for me... just more shoveling. It's "Friday", though. "Weekend" coming right up! Oh goody, I get to vacuum and do laundry. wheeeeeee.

The snow has stopped. We got maybe another half inch today. I'll call it 8" total here. So pretty. And still white, for the moment. Not for much longer, I fear, once the plows, sand, and other vehicles have their say of it. Shoveled all morning, everything is nice and clear till Friday, when the next storm is due to roll in. No time to think about that now, though... I have an appointment with a heating pad and hot cocoa.

The Nursery is beautiful at night, though. Some snow on all the Christmas trees, lights sparkling in the cold air, and a soft blanket over everything (heck, I'll even say that the horrid inflata-snowman looks kind of nice in this shot...).

My feet are staying warm and dry this winter, for the first time in ages. I finally have good boots. Light, actually insulated, and (so far) water proof. Nice and fuzzy all over the inside, too. :)
