In theory, we get more baaaaaaby plants tomorrow, if the delivery truck can make it through the slush/ice/crud that is currently falling from the sky. An ice storm in March... we have over 3' of snow as it is, roofs are collapsing everywhere (whose idea was it to build buildings with flat roofs in Maine, anyway?), and the paths at work will be ice rinks tomorrow. Will be interesting, at any rate... roads will probably flood sooner than expected, if the rain continues, and it warms up enough to melt snow. It's going to be a muddy spring, I think.

Fencing tonight was good! No more (well, a lot less) flailing around, and some actual good bouts for the first time in quite a while... did some melee practice, played a bit with case of heavy rapier. I need a second of my own, or need to borrow different peoples' until I find one that fits my hand if I am going to do this on a regular basis.

On a completely random note... I had fish n' chips for dinner tonight. It's probably been close to 10 years since I was served undetermined whitefish, battered and fried, then glomped with sauce tartar, and it was delightful. Been craving it for about the last month, for some reason, and am now satisfied. mmm...

Soggy Lions! I'm looking forward to the muddy lambs, at any rate. Though I did hear on MPBN that Mud season won't be as bad as we think, because it has to do with how the frost set in last fall.

Mostly, I want to know if you're doing the flower show this year? I'll be working at the Books, Etc. booth tomorrow (Thursday) and Sunday, and it's upstairs next to the lecture hall. If you/RTN is there, where are you?
I want to come see your cool stuff!

Yay for muddy lambs! :) One theory as to why Mud Season won't be too bad appears to be that anything that's covered in snow is probably mostly thawed... Nicely insulated, as it didn't freeze real hard before it started snowing back in Decembe. I dunno. Hoping that means I can get things in the garden earlier than usual. :)

We're not doing the flower show; my boss doesn't like the venue itself, and with all the snow craziness, we'd have a heck of a time putting anything together. I'll try to come see you on Sunday, though, if I can get away from here in time! I need to see more green things...
