A successful River Trip.

Beautiful day of canoeing on the Saco. Foliage wasn't as impressive as last year, even though everywhere else is pretty colorful; I suppose being by the river, the trees aren't as stressed for water. Saw lotsa dragonflies, a few kingfishers and piper-type birds, a Great Blue Heron, and found a wonderful little cove full of golden sunlight and water skimmers. Very serene, peaceful...
