Two Reasons why I am staying in today

felis_lupusThe joy and happiness of yesterday continues today, with leftover turkey for lunch. Hot Cocoa with marshmallows (and perhaps some peppermint...) is on the horizon. I am staying in today. Not going to fight the masses of crazy people at stores, that's for sure. There may well be RockBand later, we'll have to see. :)
Wal-Mart worker dies as crowd rushes in The crowd ripped the DOORS off the hinges in the rush to get into WalMart. One employee dead, and at least one other person (or two people, depending on your personal views on the subject) injured; a pregnant woman, and (possibly) her unborn baby. Nothing in that store is worth that.
Buy Nothing Day "Black Friday" comes from the idea that stores will be 'in the black' again, ie profitable, rather than 'in the red', where many have been for the past year. This bit goes against that whole theory, but it's not a bad thing, really.
Argh.
