Survivor: Maine - Episode 7

Could hardly call this a storm... the phone rang at 5 AM (woo! more sleep!), and I headed out to shovel what looked pretty close to a heavy frost. Ugh.
All told, barely a half inch. Enough to scrape/sand/salt, as it was a little slippery. By 9:30 AM, though, the sun was out in full force, and whatever hadn't been scraped quite down to bare ground was melting nicely. (Look, you can see the still green grass in the park through it... a week ago there were 15 inches of the white stuff on the ground...)
Tomorrow we are supposed to get 1-3", hopefully done in time for New Years festivities, or at least show up in Saco in time for midnight... Barring that, I shall bring a bottle of sparkling cider and glasses, and Michelle and I will celebrate in style. Well... at least the cider will be chilled.
